Hydrophone array underwater junction box

Cetacean Research Technology created a custom hydrophone array underwater junction box for The Whale Museum.

Cetacean Research Technology (CRT) designed and built this underwater junction box for an array of eight C50 hydrophones (predecessor to the C55 and C57) for the Whale Museum. The array was deployed from the lighthouse at Lime Kiln Point State Park where killer whales can be seen very close to shore, and where the annual OrcaSing event is held.

In 2015 CRT's Joe Olson made an audio/video compilation of highlights from OrcaSing 2003 thorough OrcaSing 2015. Recordings from hydrophones in this junction box are included in the compilation, along with a brief, glimpse of it also - more
